'SUP With Your Pup' Sessions

Paddleboarding with your best friend is a fantastic and exciting experience! Join us for a 1 to 1 session at Cresswell; a quiet Northumberland beach where you and your best friend can have a go at the sport with the safety of someone alongside you.

Each session will last 1 hour with around 45 minutes on the water. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your session to get your dog's buoyancy aid fitted. We will start the session familiarising yourself and your dog with the board on dry land to make sure you're both comfortable before hitting the water! You will be guided into the water and receive plenty of help if needed. We focus our sessions on enjoyment - there is no requirement to stand up with your dog on the board, it can be just as fun to sit together or even push your dog around on the board (for the diva dogs amongst us). We will be on hand to help and take a couple of candid shots so you have evidence of your achievements!

We will provide:

twobarefeet Stand up Paddle Board & Paddle
Buoyancy aid for the human
Non-stop dogwear safe life jacket for your dog
Dog treats or floating toy for encouragement
Water Safety & First Aid cover

These sessions are different to last year and are booked as a solo human and dog for a 1:1 session. If you would like to book as a pair, please select your session and send an email to confirm that this will be ok on the selected date (we require 1 instructor per human).

Prices:

1:1 // 1 hour session - £30
2:1 // 1 hour session - £60

You will receive an email after you book your slot with bank details on. A non-refundable deposit of £10 is required to secure your session, with the balance due no later than 24 hours prior to the booked time.

In the event of adverse weather, we will endeavour to rearrange your session or suggest an alternative venue. Refunds will only be given if we need to cancel your session and an alternative date can't be found.

FAQs

Do I need to have experience to sign up?: Not at all! It's all about having fun! The session will provide you with everything you need to get started and guide you and your dog into the water.
What happens during a session?: We will fit you and your dog with buoyancy aids (you can use your own if preferred) and let you both get familiar with the board on dry land. If you are both happy, we will progress to the water and take it from there! I will be on hand to help where needed and take pictures which will be sent to you after your session.
What's included in the session?: You will be provided with a twobarefeet Stand up Paddle Board, paddle, buoyancy aid for yourself and a premium life jacket for your dog. There will be dog treats available to reward your dog for getting onto the board.
Water safety and first aid cover will also be on hand.
What do I need to bring?: - Clothing to wear during your session (feel free to wear a wetsuit if you have one, but this isn't a requirement)
- A change of clothing.....
- Shoes for the board that you don't mind getting wet
- Towel for you and your dog
- Dog lead
Can my kids come too?: Yes, the sessions are open to all ages. Please note the child must be the booking, there can't be 2 humans in the water at once.
How old does my dog need to be?: There are no lower or upper age limits! The sessions are all about fun so we will take it at your dog's pace.
